Background

About Dr. Kinan Bonni

Dr. Kinan Bonni graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Ajman University of Science & Technology in 2015, then completed an implantology diploma from IDSC in affiliation with the University of Toronto and an endodontics diploma from Elite Academy in affiliation with Lyon University, France. His published clinical interests centre on cosmetic dentistry: veneers, smile makeovers, the Hollywood smile, digital smile design and veneer replacement.

That cosmetic work rests on a restorative base. His scope also covers restorative and implant dentistry, implant-supported prosthodontics and full mouth rehabilitation. That matters when someone asking about veneers also has worn teeth, old crowns or a missing tooth: a smile is planned better from the whole mouth and the bite.

At Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics in Dubai he sees patients for veneer and smile consultations, plans treatment with the clinic’s digital tools, and works with Creative Art Dental Lab, in the same building, from the first design to the final try-in.

Cosmetic dentistry

Which cosmetic treatments does Dr. Kinan Bonni plan?

What fits depends on what bothers you and on the health of the teeth underneath.

01

Veneers

Thin facings bonded to the front of the teeth to change colour, shape or small gaps; veneers at Creative Arts are previewed on a mock-up first.

02

Smile makeovers and the Hollywood smile

A smile makeover combines treatments chosen problem by problem. A Hollywood smile usually means veneers or crowns across the visible upper teeth, sometimes the lower too.

03

Gum line and proportions

When an uneven gum line makes teeth look short, laser gum contouring before veneers can correct the proportions.

04

Worn, chipped or heavily filled front teeth

How much healthy tooth is left decides between bonding, a veneer and a crown. The trade-offs are set out in veneers vs crowns.

Veneers

How are veneers planned with Dr. Kinan Bonni?

A veneer decision is really four decisions, each following from the examination rather than a package:

  • How many: the teeth that show in a broad smile, often six to ten per arch.
  • Preparation: minimal or none when teeth are small or set back; more when teeth sit forward or are very dark. Types of veneers explains the range.
  • Material: chosen with you for each case (see the materials section below).
  • Shape and shade: designed digitally, then tried in your mouth as a mock-up.

Teeth and gums must be healthy first; decay and gum inflammation are treated before any cosmetic work.

Smile design

How is a smile designed before any tooth is prepared?

You see and test a proposed smile before anything irreversible. Digital smile design is the starting point.

01

Digital smile design

Photos, a short video and an intraoral 3D scan are used to design tooth length, width and edge position against your lips and face (see smile design and face shape).

02

Wax-up

The design becomes a model of the new tooth shapes: the blueprint for everything that follows.

03

Mock-up in your mouth

A temporary resin copy of the design is placed over your own teeth, so you can see it, speak with it and photograph it, then ask for changes before preparation.

Dental ceramics

E.max, feldspathic, zirconia or composite: how is the material chosen?

Creative Art Dental Lab makes all three ceramics in-house. No material is right for everyone; it depends on the tooth, its colour, your bite and the look you want. Compare them in E.max vs porcelain veneers and on dental ceramics.

E.max

Lithium disilicate glass-ceramic

Often chosen for
Veneers and crowns needing strength with translucency
Thickness
Can be made thin, so preparation is often modest

Composite

Resin built directly on the tooth

Often chosen for
Small changes, younger patients, or trying a shape first

Treatment approach

What does the clinic’s treatment approach mean for you?

Dr. Kinan Bonni works within the process Creative Arts uses for every patient, which keeps the decision in your hands:

  • Examination before options. Teeth, gums, bite and existing fillings or crowns are checked, with X-rays where needed, before anything is recommended.
  • A written, itemised plan. Each stage, the material proposed, the number of visits, the cost and the alternatives are written down before you commit.
  • Conservative options first. If whitening, bonding or orthodontics can reach your goal with less change to the teeth, they are on the table alongside veneers.
  • Review and aftercare. A review appointment and written aftercare follow treatment.

Natural-looking results

What makes veneers look natural rather than “done”?

Veneers look artificial when too white, too uniform, too thick or too long. A natural result comes from details:

  • Shade matched to your skin, eyes and any teeth not being treated; brighter is a choice, not a default (choosing a tooth shade).
  • Translucency at the biting edges, as natural enamel has.
  • Shape and proportion that follow your face and lip line.
  • A healthy gum line with edges that do not sit bulky against the gum.

For clinic patients, the ceramist can see your teeth in person under the same light as the dentist. More detail on natural-looking veneers.

Case planning

How do veneers, implants and full mouth rehabilitation fit into one plan?

Many people come in about their front teeth and leave with a plan for the whole mouth, sequenced so earlier work supports later work.

SituationWhat may be plannedRead more
Discoloured, chipped or uneven front teeth on a healthy baseVeneers, or whitening and bonding where they are enoughTypes of veneers

Implant treatment at Creative Arts is planned with a CBCT 3D scan; a 3D-printed surgical guide is used where the case calls for it.

In-house lab collaboration

How does Dr. Kinan Bonni work with the in-house dental lab?

Creative Art Dental Lab is a separate laboratory in the same building as the clinic (dental centre with a lab). Your case moves between dentist and lab like this:

  1. Patient (you)

What you want to change, and what you want to keep.

    Your goals
  2. Dr. Kinan Bonni

Examines teeth, gums and bite to decide whether veneers suit you at all.

    Diagnosis
  3. Smile planning

Photos, intraoral scan, digital design, mock-up, then a written plan.

    Before preparation
  4. In-house lab

Design, scans and shade notes go to the lab; the ceramist can see your teeth in person.

    Same building
  5. Ceramic design and fabrication

Designed digitally (CAD), then milled or hand-layered, stained and glazed.

    Typically 3–5 working days
  6. Try-in

You see fit, shape and shade in your own mouth before bonding.

    Your approval
  7. Clinical verification

Dr. Kinan checks margins, contacts and the bite in every jaw movement.

    Before bonding
  8. Final result

Bonding, written aftercare, a review appointment; a night guard if you grind.

    Review

Digital planning: what is scanned, and why

An intraoral 3D scan gives the lab an exact digital copy of your teeth, and digital smile design builds on it with photos. When implants are part of the plan, a CBCT 3D scan shows bone and nerve position, and the lab can 3D-print a surgical guide for guided implant placement, so the implant sits where the final tooth needs it.

Veneer consultation

What happens at a veneer consultation with Dr. Kinan Bonni?

Bring older photos of your smile if your teeth have changed, recent X-rays, details of existing veneers or crowns, and a list of your medicines.

  1. Your goals

    Before you decide
Suitability

Who may be suitable for veneers, and who may not?

Decided at examination; these are the usual patterns.

Often suitable

  • Discoloured teeth that whitening has not improved enough
  • Chipped, worn or uneven front edges
  • Small gaps or slightly irregular teeth
  • Small or short teeth
  • Old veneers or front crowns that look bulky or artificial

Often better treated another way first

  • Active decay or gum disease, which must be treated first
  • Heavy, untreated grinding
  • Markedly crowded or protruding teeth, where orthodontics may be kinder
  • Teeth that only need whitening
  • Very little enamel left, where a crown may be more reliable
Alternatives

What are the alternatives to veneers?

Dr. Kinan discusses each where it could reach your goal.

01

Teeth whitening

Lightens natural teeth without drilling; it does not change shape or close gaps (teeth whitening).

02

Composite bonding

Resin added to chips or small gaps, usually with no preparation (composite bonding).

04

Crowns

Cover the whole tooth when too little sound tooth is left for a veneer (dental crowns).

Can old, bulky or unnatural veneers be replaced?

Often, yes. Veneers that look too thick, too white or flat, or that have dark edges or gum irritation, can be assessed. Removal means taking off the old ceramic without removing more tooth than necessary; what is left underneath decides whether new veneers, crowns or a repair suit you. See veneer replacement and redoing unnatural veneers.

Teaching: clinical trainer and DIA Academy co-founder

Alongside patient care, Dr. Kinan Bonni trains dentists in cosmetic dentistry as a clinical trainer. He co-founded DIA Academy with Basem Tobaji, Celebrity Smile Designer and CEO of Creative Art Group, and Dr. Omar Hamid. Teaching means explaining each planning step, which is also what patients are owed.

Full mouth rehabilitation with Dr. Kinan Bonni: how the stages are ordered

When teeth are worn, broken or restored many times over, Dr. Kinan Bonni plans the whole mouth before touching a single tooth, because each stage has to support the next.

  1. Health first. Decay, gum inflammation and any infected teeth are treated before restorative or cosmetic work.
  2. Records and bite. Photos, an intraoral scan and, where implants may be needed, a CBCT scan. Bite height lost to grinding is measured rather than guessed.
  3. A trial of the new bite. The planned shape and height are tested in temporaries, so chewing, speech and comfort can be checked before anything permanent is made.
  4. Restoration in stages. Crowns, veneers, bridges or implant crowns are made by Creative Art Dental Lab in the same building, usually one area at a time.
  5. Protection. A night guard is usually advised if you grind, with review visits afterwards.

The written plan sets out each stage, the visits, the cost and the alternatives. Read more on full mouth rehabilitation, worn teeth and night guards.

Gum contouring before veneers: how Dr. Kinan Bonni sequences the two

Short-looking front teeth are not always short. Sometimes the gum covers more of the tooth than it should, or the gum line is uneven from tooth to tooth. In those cases Dr. Kinan Bonni may plan laser gum contouring before veneers, so the new teeth are designed to the final gum line rather than the old one.

  • The cause comes first. Extra gum, a short upper lip or the position of the jaw can all make a smile look gummy, and only the first is treated at the gum (gummy smile causes).
  • Both are designed together. The digital smile design shows the planned gum line and tooth length at the same time, and the mock-up lets you see the proportions before any change.
  • The gum is left to settle. It heals before the final scan, so the edges of the veneers sit on a stable margin.

Some people need only the gum treatment and no veneers at all. The page on veneers with gum contouring explains the combined plan.

Dr. Kinan Bonni as a clinical trainer: what teaching dentists means for your treatment

Alongside his patients at Creative Arts, Dr. Kinan Bonni works as a clinical trainer who trains dentists in cosmetic dentistry. He is also a co-founder of DIA Academy, with Basem Tobaji, Celebrity Smile Designer and CEO of Creative Art Group, and Dr. Omar Hamid. In practical terms, this is what it means for you:

  • A plan you can follow. Teaching a technique means breaking it into steps and giving the reason for each. Ask for the same at your consultation: why veneers, crowns or bonding, why this number of teeth, and what each visit is for. Your written plan should read the same way (how to read a treatment plan).
  • Questions are part of the visit. Ask how much of each tooth will be prepared, what happens if you dislike the mock-up, and when he would advise against veneers. The veneer consultation guide lists more questions worth asking.
  • What it does not change. Training other dentists is not a licence grade. His title remains Dentist, and his licence can be checked on the DHA Sheryan directory (how to check a dentist's DHA licence).

Before your visit, you can also read what a smile design consultation covers.

Medical review: how Dr. Kinan Bonni checks the clinic's pages

Dr. Kinan Bonni is the medical reviewer for the clinic's clinical pages, about 1,270 of them, from veneers and implants to root canals and children's dentistry. A medical review means a dentist reads each page as a clinician before patients rely on it. On these pages a reviewer looks at four things:

  • Accuracy. Clinical statements match mainstream evidence, and timings are given as typical ranges, such as about 3–6 months for an implant to integrate, not as promises.
  • Balance. Condition pages list the reasonable options, including the simplest, so a stained tooth is not steered straight to veneers (how to spot unnecessary treatment).
  • Fit with practice. Treatment is described as it is actually done at Creative Arts, including what is not offered here.
  • Risks and limits. Side effects, who should not have a treatment and when to seek urgent care are stated plainly.

Reviewed pages carry a line with his name, his DHA Professional Unique ID and the month of review. A page cannot examine you, though: it explains the options, and the decision is made at an examination. Browse the dental guides, ask for a second opinion on a plan, or tell us if something on a page looks out of date.

I had an amazing experience at Creative Arts with Dr. Kenan. The EMS GBT cleaning technology is a huge upgrade from traditional teeth cleaning. Unlike the old method, this treatment is incredibly gentle, completely pain-free, and much more comfortable while still providing outstanding cleaning results. My teeth felt cleaner, smoother, and fresher than ever. Dr. Kenan was very professional, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. If you've been avoiding teeth cleaning because of discomfort, I highly recommend trying the EMS GBT technology at Creative Arts. It truly makes dental cleaning a completely different experience. Thank you, Dr. Kenan and the entire team!

My wife and I visited Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics for GBT cleaning with Dr. Kinan, and it was an amazing experience. I've always hated scaling and polishing because of the pain and sensitivity, and I usually needed anesthesia before starting. This time, it was completely different—comfortable, gentle, and pain-free. Thank you, Dr. Kinan and the team, for such a great experience!

Patient questions

Frequently asked questions

Can Dr. Kinan Bonni rebuild teeth worn down by grinding?

Often, yes; worn teeth are one of the reasons patients see him for full mouth rehabilitation. He first looks for the cause of the wear, then tests the planned shape and bite height in temporaries before crowns or veneers are made in the lab. A night guard usually follows to protect the new work. Mild wear may need only composite bonding.

How long does full mouth rehabilitation with Dr. Kinan Bonni take?

It depends on what each stage involves. Treating gums or infected teeth, testing the bite in temporaries and making the final restorations in stages are usually spread over several visits; if implants are part of the plan, healing adds about 3–6 months. Your written plan gives the sequence and the expected number of visits before you commit.

Is Kinan Bachar Bonni the same dentist as Dr. Kinan Bonni?

Yes. One professional directory lists his full name as Kinan Bachar Bonni. At Creative Arts in Dubai he is Dr. Kinan Bonni, a dentist whose work centres on veneers, smile design and full mouth rehabilitation, with implant dentistry in his wider scope.

Does Dr. Kinan Bonni do laser gum contouring?

Yes, laser gum contouring is one of his listed clinical interests, usually as part of a veneer or smile design plan. He first checks whether extra gum is really the cause of a gummy or uneven smile, because lip or jaw causes are not corrected at the gum. The gum is left to heal before the final veneers are made.

How do I verify Dr. Kinan Bonni's Dubai Health Authority licence?

Look up his name on the DHA Sheryan medical directory, which lists every licensed professional in Dubai and their licence type. His DHA Professional Unique ID appears in the licence box on this page, with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Ajman University of Science & Technology (2015) and his postgraduate diplomas.

Is Dr. Kinan Bonni in Dubai the same dentist who co-founded DIA Academy?

Yes. Dr. Kinan Bonni, a dentist at Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics in Jumeirah, Dubai, is a co-founder of DIA Academy with Basem Tobaji and Dr. Omar Hamid, and works as a clinical trainer in cosmetic dentistry. At the clinic his work centres on veneers, smile design and full mouth rehabilitation, with implant dentistry in his wider scope.

Where can I see veneer cases by Dr. Kinan Bonni before booking?

This page shows six before-and-after cases from Dr. Kinan Bonni's portfolio, unretouched and shown in full, and the clinic's veneers before-and-after library has more cases from its dentists. Your own result depends on your teeth, gums and bite, which is why the consultation leads to a design and a mock-up on your own teeth before anything is prepared.

Which clinic does Dr. Kinan Bonni work at in Dubai?

In Dubai, Dr. Kinan Bonni sees patients at Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics, 614 Jumeira St, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1. The clinic is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00, and Creative Art Dental Lab, which makes the veneers and crowns he plans, is in the same building. Book on +971 4 342 4444 or WhatsApp +971 56 677 7537 and ask for him by name.

How is Dr. Kinan Bonni's name written in Arabic?

The clinic writes it «د. كنان بني». Arabic speakers also search for him as «دكتور كنان بوني», and one professional directory lists his full name as Kinan Bachar Bonni. All of these refer to the same dentist, Dr. Kinan Bonni of Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics in Jumeirah, Dubai.

Who is Dr. Kinan Bonni?

Dr. Kinan Bonni is a dentist at Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics in Dubai. His work centres on veneers, cosmetic dentistry and smile design, and his scope also includes full mouth rehabilitation and implant dentistry. He trains other dentists in cosmetic dentistry as a clinical trainer and co-founded DIA Academy.

Where did Dr. Kinan Bonni study dentistry?

He earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Ajman University of Science & Technology in 2015. He then completed an implantology diploma from IDSC in affiliation with the University of Toronto and an endodontics diploma from Elite Academy in affiliation with Lyon University, France, as listed in his published professional profiles.

Does Dr. Kinan Bonni do E.max veneers?

Yes. Creative Art Dental Lab, in the same building as the clinic, makes both E.max (lithium disilicate) and feldspathic porcelain veneers. Dr. Kinan plans the material with each patient after examining the teeth, their colour and the bite, so the choice between E.max, feldspathic, zirconia or composite is made case by case.

Does Dr. Kinan Bonni do Hollywood smile treatment?

Yes, the Hollywood smile is part of his cosmetic work. It usually means veneers or crowns across the teeth visible when you smile. He plans the shade, shape and number of teeth with a digital design and a mock-up, and discusses how bright you want the result, since a natural Hollywood smile is often the better match.

Will Dr. Kinan show me my new smile before preparing my teeth?

Yes. At Creative Arts every veneer case is designed digitally from photos and an intraoral scan, then tried in your mouth as a temporary resin mock-up. You can see it, speak with it and ask for changes before any tooth is prepared, and the approved design becomes the lab’s blueprint.

Where does Dr. Kinan Bonni see patients in Dubai?

He sees patients at Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics, 614 Jumeira St, Jumeirah 3 / Umm Suqeim 1, Dubai. The clinic is open every day from 10:00 to 20:00, and Creative Art Dental Lab is in the same building. Ask about parking when you book.

Can Dr. Kinan Bonni replace old or bulky veneers?

Yes, veneer removal and replacement is one of his listed clinical interests. He first examines the old veneers, the gum around them and the tooth underneath. If replacement suits you, a new design and mock-up come first, so the new veneers can be thinner, better shaped and closer to your natural shade.

Does Dr. Kinan Bonni place dental implants?

Implant dentistry is within his scope; at Creative Arts implant treatment is planned and placed by Dr. Kinan Bonni, Dr. Khalid Saeed and Dr. Firas Osman. Planning uses a CBCT 3D scan, with a 3D-printed surgical guide where the case calls for it. Healing before the final crown usually takes about 3–6 months.
