Cosmetic Dentist — Veneers & Smile Makeovers

Dr. Duaa Emran is a cosmetic dentist at Creative Arts in Dubai whose work is centred on veneers and smile makeovers. She has 11 years of veneer work behind her and follows a minimal-prep philosophy: natural-looking veneers, crowns and full smile design, planned around your face, lips and gum line, with as little change to healthy tooth structure as the result allows.

Veneers are most of what Dr. Duaa Emran does. Patients come to her with gaps, chipped or worn edges, uneven or small teeth, dark or yellow teeth that whitening cannot fix, or old veneers that look too white, too bulky or artificial. Her aim is a smile that looks like your own teeth at their best, not a row of identical white blocks.
Minimal prep means removing only as much enamel as the planned shape and shade truly need. Some teeth need very little; teeth that need building out rather than reducing may need none. Keeping enamel helps the veneers bond well and keeps more of the natural tooth. When a case needs more preparation, for example to cover a strong colour difference or to straighten rotated teeth, she explains why before anything is done.
Each case starts with photos, a digital scan and a smile design that considers your face, lip line, gum line and how your teeth meet. A trial smile (mock-up) lets you see and feel the proposed shape in your own mouth, so you can ask for changes, longer, softer or less white, before the final veneers are made.
Porcelain veneers such as E.max are made by the ceramists of the dental lab in the same building and keep their colour and lustre best over the years. Composite veneers are built directly on the teeth, cost less and are easier to repair, but stain and wear sooner. Dr. Duaa explains which suits your teeth, bite and budget, and when a crown is the better choice for a heavily filled or broken tooth.
A Hollywood smile at Creative Arts is a full set of upper, and often lower, veneers designed to look bright but natural. Dr. Duaa plans the number of teeth, the shade and the shape with you, and the details that make veneers look real, translucent edges, surface texture and gentle variation between teeth, are made by hand for your smile.
How veneers look in five years depends on what happens after fitting: a healthy gum line, a checked bite, a night guard if you grind, and regular professional cleaning. Dr. Duaa is certified in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), the gentle cleaning method the clinic uses for teeth and veneers.

Minimal-prep veneers, natural detail, a smile design and a trial smile before the final work. GBT certified.
1. Consultation and smile design. Photos, a digital scan and a check of teeth, gums and bite. You say what you like and dislike about your smile; she shows what veneers can and cannot change.
2. Trial smile. The planned shape is tried in your mouth as a temporary mock-up, so you approve the look before any enamel is touched.
3. Minimal preparation and scan. Only the enamel the design needs is prepared, then the teeth are scanned for the lab.
4. Fitting and bite check. The veneers are tried in, the shade confirmed with you, then bonded and the bite adjusted.
5. Aftercare. A review visit, a night guard if you grind, and GBT cleaning to keep the gum line healthy around the veneers.
Gaps between front teeth, chipped or worn edges, small or uneven teeth, stains that whitening cannot lift, a single dark tooth, and old veneers or crowns that look unnatural and need replacing.
Veneers are not the first step for every smile. Strong crowding may need aligners or braces first; gum disease is treated before any veneer; and when the concern is only colour or one small chip, whitening or composite bonding may be enough. Dr. Duaa tells you when a smaller option will give the result you want.
Priorities before procedures. Where several things need attention, they are ordered: pain and infection first, then stability, then appearance.
Cost. Ask for the plan, the stages, what each includes and what follow-up is covered. A figure without a scope is not a quotation.
Prevention. The recall interval should match your actual risk rather than a fixed six months for everyone — someone with active gum disease and someone with none do not need the same schedule.
Follow-up. After treatment you should know what is normal in the following days, what is not, and when to come back.

Every porcelain or E.max veneer that Dr. Duaa Emran plans is made by Creative Art Dental Lab, a separate laboratory in the same building as the clinic at 614 Jumeira St. That changes three practical things for you.
Composite veneers are different: she builds them directly on the teeth in the chair, so there is no lab stage. See what else Creative Art Dental Lab makes.
A first veneer or smile visit with Dr. Duaa Emran is an examination and a planning session, not a treatment appointment. It helps to bring:
She checks the teeth, gums and bite, takes photos and a scan, and explains what veneers can and cannot change for you, including when whitening or composite bonding would be enough. You leave with a written, itemised plan: the teeth involved, the material, the number of visits, the cost and the alternatives. Veneers at Creative Arts start from AED 1,250 per tooth; the final figure depends on the material and the number of teeth and is set out in that plan (veneers cost in Dubai).
Appointments are at 614 Jumeira St, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, open daily 10:00–20:00. You can book on +971 4 342 4444 or on WhatsApp, where Arwaa, the patient advisor, answers your questions before the visit.
Typically 3–5 working days after the scan of the prepared teeth, depending on how many teeth and which ceramic are involved. Creative Art Dental Lab, in the same building, designs and finishes them by hand, and no same-day veneers are made. If teeth have been prepared, temporaries are usually worn in between, and small adjustments can often be made at the try-in visit.
Yes, although one front tooth is among the hardest cases, because it sits beside natural teeth. She plans the shape on the smile design, and the ceramist can see your teeth in person under the same light before layering the colour. At the try-in you check the shade in daylight before the veneer is bonded.

Yes. Teeth whitening and composite bonding are part of her cosmetic work, and for some smiles they are all that is needed. If colour is the only concern, in-clinic whitening starts from AED 699; small chips or gaps may suit bonding. She tells you when veneers would add nothing that a smaller step cannot do.

Only as much enamel is removed as the planned shape and shade need, and on teeth that need building out, sometimes none. Keeping enamel helps the bond and keeps more natural tooth. If more preparation is needed, she explains why first.
Yes. She plans full-arch veneers with you, number of teeth, shade and shape, and you see the result as a trial smile before the final veneers are made, so the smile is bright but still looks natural.
By your teeth, bite, the result you want and your budget. Porcelain and E.max keep their colour longest; composite costs less and is easier to repair but stains and wears sooner. She explains both before you decide.

Often, yes. Veneers that look too white, bulky or flat can be removed and redone with a new smile design. She first checks the teeth and gums underneath and explains what the new veneers can achieve.
