Quick answer

How many days do I need in Dubai for veneers, a Hollywood smile or dental implants?

At Creative Arts in Dubai, veneers and a Hollywood smile usually need two main visits several days apart, so most patients allow about 5–10 days. Implants are usually two trips: placement, then the crown after typically 3–6 months of healing. In-clinic whitening and a cleaning are single visits. Your dentist confirms the exact schedule after examining you.

How long should you stay in Dubai for each dental treatment?

Typical stays for straightforward cases. Treatment needed first, such as gum care or fillings, adds visits.

Veneers

Why can't veneers be finished in two or three days?

Ceramic veneers are made, not cut from a stock shape. After the digital smile design and the trial smile you approve, the teeth are prepared and scanned, and Creative Art Dental Lab in the same building builds each veneer. That takes typically 3–5 working days, depending on the number of teeth and the ceramic. You wear temporary veneers in the meantime.

So there are two main visits several days apart: design and preparation first, fitting second. The fitting includes a try-in, when shade and shape can still be adjusted, then bonding and a bite check. Most patients keep a day after the fitting for a review before they leave.

A Sunday in the middle of the lab days adds a day, because the lab does not work on Sundays. A patient who arrives on a Friday and has veneers prepared on Saturday usually has a fitting later the following week, not on Monday. The veneers for visitors page walks through a veneer stay day by day.

Extra days

What adds days to a dental trip to Dubai?

Most extra days come from biology or from decisions you make at the trial smile, not from the clinic's diary.

01

Treatment needed first

Decay under old fillings, gum inflammation or a tooth that needs a root canal is treated before veneers or crowns, and the gums may need time to settle.

02

Changes at the trial smile

If you want a different length or shape, the design is revised and tried again. That is the right moment to change your mind, and it can add a day.

03

Surgery before an implant

An extraction, a bone graft or a sinus lift changes the stay and the timing of the next trip, and a sinus lift has its own advice on when you can fly.

04

Sedation

After oral or IV sedation you rest for the remainder of that day and need an adult with you, so no other appointment is booked for that afternoon.

05

The lab's Sunday

Clinic appointments run every day from 10:00 to 20:00, but lab days are Monday to Saturday, so a Sunday during lab time stretches the stay.

Implants

What happens on each of the two implant trips?

Most implant patients make two trips, because the bone needs typically 3–6 months to bond to the implant. Healing is often longer after grafting.

  1. Assessment and 3D scan

Examination and a CBCT scan show bone height, width and nearby structures, so the implant position is planned before surgery.

    Trip 1, first visit
  2. Implant placement

Done in the clinic's operating room under local anaesthetic, with conscious sedation possible after a medical-history review. General anaesthesia is not given at the clinic.

    Trip 1
  3. Check before you fly

The surgeon checks the site and tells you when you can fly. Ask whether stitches dissolve or need removing, and whether a dentist at home can do that.

    Trip 1, last visit
  4. Healing at home

You go home while the bone heals. A front tooth may get a temporary; photos on WhatsApp help if anything feels wrong.

    Typically 3–6 months
  5. Crown

A scan, then the lab-made crown is fitted after typically 3–5 working days and the bite is checked. Allow about a week.

Starting prices

What do veneers, implants, whitening and cleaning cost at the Dubai clinic?

These are the clinic's starting prices, the same for every patient. A Hollywood smile is calculated from the per-tooth veneer price; everything else is priced in your written, itemised plan.

TreatmentPricePer
VeneersFrom AED 1,250per tooth
Hollywood smile, 10 upper veneers (example)From AED 12,50010 teeth × AED 1,250
Hollywood smile, 20 veneers upper and lower (example)From AED 25,00020 teeth × AED 1,250
Dental implantFrom AED 4,000per implant
Teeth whiteningFrom AED 699per treatment
GBT cleaningAED 1,200per session

Starting prices at Creative Arts, 614 Jumeira St, Jumeirah 3, Dubai. Your exact price, with the material and number of teeth, is written in your plan after examination.

More than one treatment in one stay?

The order matters. A cleaning comes first, whitening comes before the shade of any veneer or crown is chosen, and implant surgery starts early in the trip so the surgeon can check you before you leave. Veneers and an implant crown are best designed together at the end. See matching veneers, crowns and implants.

Booking flights

When should you book your flights to Dubai for dental treatment?

Book after the plan, not before it. Once a dentist has seen your photos and any recent X-rays, the clinic can share a suggested appointment schedule so you can book flights around it. The schedule is confirmed or adjusted at your first examination in Dubai.

  • Arrive early in the week if your treatment needs lab time, so the lab days fall before a Sunday.
  • Keep the day after a fitting or surgery free for a review.
  • Leave a margin day before you fly home, in case the bite needs a small adjustment.

Patient questions

Frequently asked questions

How many days in Dubai should I allow from the UK for 20 veneers?

Twenty veneers, upper and lower, often need 10 days or more in Dubai. Both arches are designed and tried together, the lab needs typically 3–5 working days, and the fitting may be split over two days with a review after you have eaten with the new teeth. Old crowns or veneers to replace add time. Your dentist confirms the schedule after examination.

Can I have implant surgery and the final crown in one trip to Dubai from the US?

Usually not. The bone needs typically 3–6 months to bond to the implant before the final crown is made, so most patients make two trips. Immediate placement or a temporary tooth may be possible in some cases, but that depends on bone and stability and is decided at planning, never promised.

How many days should I plan in Dubai from abroad for a root canal and a crown?

Root canal treatment usually takes one or two visits; if two, they are a few days apart. A crown then needs preparation, a scan and typically 3–5 working days of lab time before it is fitted, so about a week in total is common. Retreating an old root canal can take longer.

Is one day in Dubai enough for teeth whitening if I am visiting from the UK?

In-clinic whitening is a single appointment, so one day is enough for the treatment itself. A cleaning beforehand helps the result. Avoid strongly coloured food and drinks for the next day or two, and if you also plan veneers or crowns, whiten first so their shade can be matched to the new colour.

Does a Sunday in my stay add days to veneers made in Dubai for patients from abroad?

It can. The clinic is open every day, but Creative Art Dental Lab works Monday to Saturday, so a Sunday during the 3–5 working days of lab time pushes the fitting back. Arriving early in the week helps the lab days run without a break.

Who confirms how many days I need in Dubai before I book flights from the US or UK?

A dentist reviews your photos and recent X-rays sent on WhatsApp and the clinic can share a suggested appointment schedule, so you can book flights around it. The schedule is confirmed at your examination in Dubai, because decay, gums and the bite cannot be fully judged from photos.
