Quick answer

How much do veneers cost in Dubai?

The cost of veneers in Dubai depends on the ceramic used, how many teeth genuinely need covering, whether any tooth needs a crown instead, and what preparatory work comes first. Published per-tooth prices vary widely because they rarely describe the same treatment. Creative Arts gives a written, itemised plan after examination, with the material named for each tooth and the alternatives costed.

Why we don't publish a per-tooth veneer price

A per-tooth figure on a website answers a question nobody is really asking. What you want to know is what your smile will cost, and that depends on things a website cannot see: how many teeth show when you talk, whether an old filling needs replacing, whether the gum is healthy enough to frame new work, and whether one of those teeth is really a crown case.

An advertised number also nudges every patient towards the same treatment, when some are better served by whitening or composite bonding. So your figure comes after an examination, on paper, tooth by tooth — with any less invasive option costed on the same plan.

Cost factors

What decides the cost of veneers?

These are the variables that move the total. Most of them are clinical decisions rather than choices on a menu.

  • Number of teethSet by how many teeth show when you speak and smile naturally — often fewer than the eight or ten a package assumes, sometimes only one or two.
  • The ceramicFeldspathic porcelain is layered by hand and is the most labour-intensive. E-max (lithium disilicate) is milled then hand-finished. Composite is built directly in the mouth.
  • What each tooth needsA heavily filled or root-treated tooth may need a crown instead, and a tooth with old decay may need a build-up first.
  • Preparatory treatmentGum treatment, replacing leaking fillings, whitening the teeth you keep natural, or alignment first. These appear as separate lines.
  • Protecting the resultA night guard if you grind or clench. It costs far less than replacing a chipped veneer.

Composite, E-max, feldspathic or a crown: how the cost drivers compare

Relative terms only, because the figure for each depends on your case. The point is to see where the cost comes from, and what you get for it over time.

Service-life ranges are typical figures; grinding, hygiene and bite affect them more than the material. For the clinical differences see veneers vs crowns.

Think in replacement cycles, not the first invoice

Every veneer is eventually replaced; the question is how often. A cheaper material redone every few years can cost more over fifteen years than a ceramic veneer fitted once and looked after.

  • Composite is repolished and periodically rebuilt. Each redo is smaller than the original, but they add up.
  • Ceramic lasts much longer, but replacing it means removing the old veneer carefully and making a new one — see veneer replacement.
  • Grinding shortens every material's life, which is why a night guard is the cheapest item on many plans.

Ask what replacement cycle to expect for the proposed material. That answer tells you more than the headline number.

Reading the small print

What cheap "from" veneer offers usually leave out

A low starting price is usually a real price for a narrow thing. These items are most often missing.

01

The material you assumed

"Veneers from" often means composite, or a single-shade ceramic. Ask for the material by name and whether it is layered or monolithic.

02

The number of teeth you need

A per-tooth price multiplied by fewer teeth than your smile shows looks tidy, until more teeth are added at the chair.

03

Design and mock-up

Some offers go straight from consultation to preparation, skipping the trial smile that protects you from an irreversible result you dislike.

04

Preparatory work and aftercare

Gum treatment, replacement fillings, temporaries, the review visit and a night guard are commonly excluded and quoted later.

Comparing quotes

Questions to ask before you compare two veneer quotes

Put the same questions to every clinic, including this one. A quote that cannot answer them is a price, not a plan.

Ask for these in writing

  • How many teeth, and why that number for my smile?
  • Which ceramic, by name, for each tooth?
  • Is a digital design and physical mock-up included before preparation?
  • Which preparatory treatments are needed, and are they on the quote?
  • Where is the laboratory, and will the technician see my teeth?

Treat these as warning signs

  • A fixed number of teeth offered before anyone has examined you
  • No mention of your gums, your bite or existing fillings
  • The material described only as "porcelain" or "premium"
  • Preparation booked on the first visit

Planning a full-smile makeover?

When a plan covers most of the visible teeth and combines veneers, crowns and gum work, it is usually called a Hollywood Smile. The cost logic is the same, on a larger scale. Our guide to Hollywood Smile costs walks through it, and the Hollywood Smile page explains the treatment itself.

Patient questions

Frequently asked questions

How much do veneers cost per tooth in Dubai?

There is no honest single figure. Per-tooth prices published in Dubai vary widely because they describe different materials, different levels of laboratory work and different inclusions. The cost of one tooth also depends on whether it needs a veneer, a crown or a build-up first. After examination we give a written plan with each tooth listed, the ceramic named and the cost of each line.

Why are veneers cheaper at some clinics?

Usually because the quote covers less: a composite or single-shade material, no design or mock-up stage, fewer teeth than your smile shows, or preparatory treatment left out. Ask each clinic for the material by name, the tooth count and a list of exclusions, then compare like with like.

Are E-max veneers more expensive than porcelain?

E-max is a type of ceramic, and "porcelain" is often used loosely for all of them. Traditional feldspathic porcelain, layered by hand, is generally the most labour-intensive to make; E-max is milled and then hand-finished, so it usually sits below feldspathic. Which one suits your teeth is a clinical decision made at examination.

Is a Hollywood Smile priced differently from individual veneers?

A Hollywood Smile is a whole-smile plan that may combine veneers, crowns, whitening and gum contouring, so it is priced as the sum of those items rather than a single package. Our Hollywood Smile cost guide explains how those plans are built and why the tooth count matters most.

Does insurance cover veneers?

Veneers placed for appearance are usually treated as cosmetic by insurers. Where a tooth needs restoring for a clinical reason, some policies may view part of the work differently. Check with your insurer directly using the itemised plan, which lists each tooth and the reason for treatment.

Is it cheaper to have fewer veneers?

Often, and fewer is frequently the better plan anyway. If only two front teeth are chipped or discoloured, whitening the rest and matching two veneers to them can look more natural than covering eight. The design stage shows whether a smaller number will read as balanced.
