Two visits, one trip
Why do veneers from the US usually fit into one longer stay?
Ceramic veneers are made for your teeth after they are prepared, so there are always two main visits. On the first, your teeth are examined, the smile is designed and you wear a trial smile (a mock-up) to judge length, shape and brightness. Only after you approve it are the teeth minimally prepared, scanned and covered with temporaries.
The porcelain veneers are then made by Creative Art Dental Lab in the same building, typically over 3–5 working days. The second visit is the try-in and bonding, followed by a review once you have eaten with the new teeth.
Because those steps sit days apart rather than weeks, most straightforward cases fit one trip. What breaks that pattern is biology: gum treatment, gum reshaping or aligner treatment first can mean two trips. Visitors from any country can read veneers for visitors for the day-by-day sequence.

Weddings and big dates
When should you travel from the US for veneers before a wedding or event?
Plan the trip so the veneers are bonded weeks, not days, before the date. Gums can look slightly pink at the edges for a short while, your speech and bite settle over the first days, and the review needs to happen before you fly.
- Whitening comes before the shade is chosen. If you want lower teeth whiter too, in-clinic whitening is done first so the veneer shade matches the result.
- Leave room for changes at try-in. If the shade or length needs adjusting, the lab is in the same building, but it still takes time.
- Do not book the flight home for the fitting evening. Keep at least the next day free.

How many days should I plan in Dubai for veneers if I fly in from the US?
For a straightforward ceramic case, visitors typically plan about five to ten days: examination, design and trial smile, preparation, laboratory time of typically 3–5 working days, fitting and a review. More teeth, preparatory treatment or a Sunday in the middle (the lab is closed) can add days. Long-haul travellers often add a rest day on arrival.
Can I see my veneer design before I fly from the US to Dubai?
From your photos, a dentist can describe what is likely possible. The actual digital smile design and trial smile are made at the first visit in Dubai, after examination and a scan, and nothing is prepared until you approve them. You can change length, shape and brightness at that stage.
Should a US patient choose 10 or 20 veneers for a Hollywood smile?
It depends on how many teeth show when you smile and talk, not on a package. Many smiles are treated with upper veneers only; others show enough lower teeth that both arches are done. From AED 12,500 for 10 upper veneers and from AED 25,000 for 20, with the material setting the final figure.
Can I wear temporary veneers home to the US and come back later for the final ones?
That is not the usual plan. Temporary veneers are made to cover the laboratory days, not months of normal life. If you cannot stay for the full sequence, the dentist can plan the trip differently, for example with design and trial smile on one visit and preparation and fitting on another.
Can a dentist in the US repair a veneer made in Dubai?
Often, yes. A small chip can sometimes be polished or repaired with composite by your local dentist, and they can check gums and bite at routine visits. A veneer that needs replacing has to be remade from a new scan. Take your shade and material details home so any dentist knows what was used.
Do I need my US dentist to check my teeth before travelling to Dubai for veneers?
It helps. A recent check-up and X-ray can find decay or gum problems that are better treated before the trip, so your days in Dubai are spent on the veneers. Send the X-rays with your photos; the clinic may still take its own on the first visit.
