The implant heals first
It heals unloaded, typically for 3–6 months, then the crown or bridge is made.

The implant goes in and a fixed temporary tooth or bridge is attached the same day, if your bone and the implant's stability allow. Final teeth follow after healing.
First visit: examination and CBCT scan. You hear whether same-day loading is realistic before anything is booked.

Designed in the clinic and made by hand in Creative Art Dental Lab, in the same building in Jumeirah, Dubai.

Same-day dental implants means the implant is placed and a fixed temporary tooth or bridge is attached to it on the same day, known as immediate loading. Creative Arts in Dubai offers it when bone quality and implant stability allow, decided after a CBCT scan and examination and confirmed at surgery. The temporary is kept out of heavy biting; your final teeth are made after the implant has healed, typically 3–6 months later.

On the day of surgery, the implant is placed and, if it is firmly stable, a fixed temporary tooth or bridge is attached to it before you go home. For a full arch, that is a provisional bridge on several implants, as in All-on-4 or All-on-6.
What you do not get on the day is the final tooth. The temporary is lighter, shaped to stay out of heavy biting, and protects the implant while bone grows onto it. After integration, typically 3–6 months, scans and try-ins lead to the final crown or bridge, made in the laboratory in our building.
It can follow an extraction at the same visit or go into a healed site; the guide to immediate implants explains placement versus loading.

The scan and examination answer most of it; how firmly the implant locks into bone is only known during surgery.
Not qualifying on the day means a slower, more forgiving route, explained before surgery.
It heals unloaded, typically for 3–6 months, then the crown or bridge is made.
For a front tooth, a removable temporary or one bonded to the neighbouring teeth fills the gap without pressing on the implant. See temporary teeth during implant treatment.
Where the scan shows too little bone, a graft or sinus lift comes first, and the implant follows once it has healed.
An infected tooth is removed and the site heals, sometimes with a graft to preserve bone, before the implant.
A typical sequence; your written plan gives your own visits.
Bone, nerve, sinus and the tooth to be removed are assessed in 3D, with a digital scan and bite record.
First visitThe implant position is set from where the tooth must sit, with a guide 3D-printed in our lab where the case calls for guided implant surgery.
Before surgeryUnder local anaesthetic, with sedation available, any tooth is removed and the implant placed; its measured stability decides loading.
Surgery dayIf stability allows, the temporary is fitted and adjusted so it does not take heavy bite forces.
Same dayReviews check the gum, the temporary and the bite while bone integrates, typically 3–6 months.
HealingNew scans and try-ins lead to the final crown or bridge, made in our building.
After integrationOne bridge joining several implants spreads the load, so same-day loading is used more often for full arches.
| Single tooth | Full arch | |
|---|---|---|
| What is attached | One temporary crown on one implant | A provisional bridge joining several implants |
| How load is controlled | The temporary is kept out of the bite | The bridge splints the implants so none moves alone |
| Most often used for | Front teeth, where a gap matters most | All-on-4 or All-on-6 in one or both jaws |
| Main limit | One implant carries everything; stability must be high | Enough implants must be stable to carry the bridge |
Back teeth, which take the heaviest forces, are more often left to heal before loading.
The temporary looks like a tooth but cannot be used like one yet. Your written aftercare gives your own timings.
Yoghurt, eggs, soft fish, rice and cooked vegetables; chew away from the implant. No nuts, ice, crusts or sticky sweets.
Usually peak in the first two or three days and are managed with cold packs and pain relief as advised. See implant aftercare.
Brush gently around the temporary from the next day and rinse as instructed.
Smoking slows healing and raises the risk of the implant not integrating. Stopping before and after surgery helps.
A mainstream technique when the conditions are right. These are the risks to know.
Overloading can cause micro-movement that stops bone integrating, hence the stability check and a light bite.
Temporaries are lighter than final teeth. A chipped or loose one is repaired; contact the clinic during opening hours.
Where gum and bone are thin, the gum line can recede slightly; the final crown is designed around it.
Infection, and rarely nerve or sinus involvement, reduced by planning on the CBCT. See dental implant risks.

Same-day loading is decided by your bone, not sold as a package.
| Treatment | Price | Per |

| Dental implant | From AED 4,000 | per implant |
Starting prices at Creative Arts, 614 Jumeira St, Jumeirah 3, Dubai. Your exact price, with the material and number of teeth, is written in your plan after examination.
Dental implants at Creative Arts start from AED 4,000 per implant. Your written, itemised plan, given after a free first consultation and CBCT scan, lists exactly what is included for your case (implant, crown, any bone graft) and the temporary stage; full arches are priced as a whole. See the dental implant cost guide.
Same-day loading is decided by your bone and confirmed during surgery. If it is not safe, you are told why, and the plan already includes the alternative. Ask first on our dental implant questions page, or see treated smiles in the smile gallery.

Yes, when your bone quality and the implant's stability allow it. The decision starts with a CBCT scan and examination and is confirmed during surgery, when the stability of the implant is measured. If it is high enough, a fixed temporary tooth or bridge is attached the same day; if not, the implant heals first and you are told why.
The CBCT scan shows bone height, width and density, and the examination shows infection, gum health and your bite. From those, the dentist tells you whether same-day loading is likely, possible or unlikely. Only the stability reading during surgery confirms it, so the plan always includes what happens if the implant needs to heal first.
No. It is a fixed temporary, shaped to stay out of heavy biting while the implant integrates. The final crown or bridge is made after healing, typically 3–6 months later, from new scans and try-ins at Creative Art Dental Lab in our building.
Soft food that needs little chewing, such as yoghurt, eggs, soft fish, rice and well-cooked vegetables, for as long as your dentist advises. Avoid nuts, ice, crusty bread and sticky sweets, chew away from the implant, and never bite into food with a front temporary.
Not automatically, but smoking raises the risk of healing problems and of the implant not integrating, and heavy smoking can tip the decision towards letting the implant heal first. Stopping before surgery and during healing improves the odds, so tell the dentist honestly how much you smoke.
Implants at Creative Arts start from AED 4,000 per implant whichever timing is used. What differs is the temporary: a fixed one made for the day, or a removable or bonded one while the implant heals. Your written plan lists exactly what is included for your case; full arches are priced as a whole.
