Send the plan you were given, with your X-ray or CBCT scan, on WhatsApp. Dr. Firas Osman reviews bone, nerves, sinus, implant positions and grafts before you commit to surgery.
Send the written plan, the X-ray or CBCT and a few photos. Large CBCT files can go by email to [email protected].

Yes. At Creative Arts in Dubai you can send your treatment plan, X-ray or CBCT scan and photos on WhatsApp, and Dr. Firas Osman, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, reviews them. He checks the bone, the nerves, the sinus, the planned implant positions, the number of implants and any grafts, and replies with what the images support, what to ask, and what needs an examination in person.
Who treats you here Dr. Firas Osman Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Every dentist’s licence can be checked on the DHA Sheryan medical directory.
Most implant and oral surgery plans are built on two kinds of image. A panoramic X-ray shows all the teeth and both jaws in one flat picture, which is enough to see missing teeth, old roots and where a wisdom tooth sits. A CBCT scan is a 3D image: it shows how wide and tall the bone is at each site, where the nerve canal in the lower jaw runs, and how thin the floor of the sinus is above the upper back teeth. Our guide to dental X-rays explains the difference.
Dr. Firas Osman reads the images against what the plan proposes: the number of implants, where each one goes, whether a graft or sinus lift comes first, and how a tooth near the nerve would be removed. He studied stomatology at the Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute (1995), specialised in oral and maxillofacial surgery through the Syrian Ministry of Health (1999), and has practised for about three decades in Russia, Syria and the UAE.
A review of files cannot replace an examination, but it shows whether the plan fits the images.

Six things decide whether a surgical plan is sound. Each one shows on the scan, and each one changes the plan.
| What he looks at | Why it matters to your plan | |
|---|---|---|
| Bone | Height, width and density at each implant site | Too little bone can mean a graft first, a different position, or another option |
| Nerves | The nerve canal in the lower jaw and where it exits near the premolars | Implants and wisdom tooth roots must keep a safe distance from it |
| Sinus | The sinus floor above the upper back teeth and the health of its lining | Decides whether a sinus lift is needed, and which kind |
| Implant position | Angle, depth and spacing, measured from where the teeth must sit | A badly placed implant is hard to restore and to keep clean |
| Number of implants | How many implants carry each tooth, bridge or full arch | More is not automatically better; the bone and the bite decide |
| Grafts | Whether a graft is needed, which type, and when | A graft adds healing time, so it should have a clear reason |
A full arch on four or six implants is compared on our All-on-6 and All-on-4 pages.
Any plan can be checked, but some carry enough at stake that a second look from a surgeon is sensible before you agree.
You can start from home, wherever you live. Nothing is booked until you decide.
On WhatsApp: the written plan, the X-ray or CBCT, and a few photos of your teeth. A CBCT is often too large for WhatsApp, so a download link or an email to [email protected] works better.
From homeDr. Arwaa, our patient advisor on WhatsApp, confirms what has arrived and asks for anything missing, such as the CBCT files rather than screenshots.
First replyHe compares the plan with the images: bone, nerves, sinus, positions, number of implants and grafts.
ReviewWhat the images support, what seems questionable, what to ask your dentist, and what can only be decided at an examination.
ReplyAt the clinic he examines you and takes a new CBCT only where the existing images cannot answer the question. You receive a written, itemised plan with alternatives.
Optional visitA second opinion has three honest outcomes, and you decide what to do with each.
If the plan fits the images, he says so. Going ahead with more confidence is a useful result.
A different number or position of implants, or a graft that may not be needed, or seems to be missing. Take these questions to your dentist, or ask for a plan here.
A loose implant, swelling or a shadow on the X-ray needs an examination before any decision. See implant repair for failing implants.
Surgery takes place in the clinic's operating rooms under local anaesthesia, with or without sedation (laughing gas, oral or IV). General anaesthesia is only given in a hospital, after Dr. Firas Osman assesses and refers.

An implant has to sit where the crown or bridge can be fixed, cleaned and bitten on, so its position is set from the final tooth backwards.
At Creative Arts the teeth on the implants are made by Creative Art Dental Lab, in the same building. When Dr. Firas Osman plans or reviews a case, the CBCT and the design of the teeth are looked at together, and the lab can 3D-print a surgical guide where the case calls for guided implant surgery.
If your implant was placed elsewhere, restoring it depends on identifying the implant system and getting compatible parts; our page on implants done abroad explains what to bring.
The aim is a plan you understand, not a different plan. You can check any Dubai dentist's licence with our guide to checking a DHA licence, and compare two plans fairly with the guide to second opinions in Dubai.

Yes, but send the right files. A screenshot of a CBCT shows one slice; the surgeon needs the full scan, which is usually a folder of DICOM files from the imaging centre. Share it as a download link on WhatsApp or by email to [email protected], together with the written plan and a few photos of your teeth.
Often it can say whether the scan supports one. A CBCT shows the bone height under the sinus and the width of the ridge, so Dr. Firas Osman can see whether a graft or sinus lift is the likely route, whether a different implant position might avoid it, or whether the question needs an examination before anyone can answer.
Yes. Whether a full arch needs four or six implants depends on the amount and quality of bone, the sinus and nerve positions, and your bite, all of which show on the CBCT. Dr. Firas Osman explains which number your scan supports and why. Neither option is better for everyone, and the answer can be that the original plan is right.
Yes, but pain needs an examination as well as images. Send any implant card, X-rays and notes first, then come in so the gum, the bone level and whether the crown or the implant is moving can be checked. If there is facial swelling with difficulty breathing or swallowing, go to a hospital emergency department straight away.
A panoramic X-ray can show warning signs, such as a root crossing the nerve canal. Only a CBCT shows the real distance in 3D. If your X-ray suggests the tooth is close, he will usually advise a CBCT before deciding how, or whether, the tooth should be removed.
No. You can take the reply back to your own dentist, or ask for an examination and a written, itemised plan here. The review comments on the treatment, not on another clinic's fees. If you do have implants at Creative Arts, they start from AED 4,000 per implant, and your written plan lists exactly what is included for your case.
