What changes a schedule
What can make your stay in Dubai longer than planned?
Knowing these in advance is why the plan is provisional until the examination.
Inflamed gums
Veneers are bonded at the gum line, so gums need to be healthy first. Severe gum disease usually means a second trip.
Grinding or an unstable bite
May change the design, material or number of appointments, and usually adds a night guard.
A Sunday in the lab days
The clinic is open daily but the lab is closed on Sunday, so lab time counts working days.
Changing the design late
Changes are free at the trial smile stage. After the ceramic is made, a remake needs more lab days.
Timing around UK school holidays and events

When should I book flights from the UK for dental treatment in Dubai?
After you have a provisional written plan and a suggested appointment schedule from the clinic, not before. Allow a spare day before the flight home in case the bite needs a small adjustment, and remember the schedule is confirmed only after the examination in Dubai.
Can I combine veneers and teeth whitening on one trip from the UK?
Sometimes, but whitening is usually done first, because the new shade needs time to settle before veneers are matched to it. For a short trip, your dentist may suggest whitening on an earlier visit or at home first. If every visible tooth is getting a veneer, whitening may not be needed.
