What is No-prep veneers?
Definition
No-prep veneers are very thin ceramic veneers bonded to the front of the teeth without first removing enamel, so they add a little thickness to each tooth.
Because nothing is taken away, no-prep veneers only look natural on teeth that are small, short, set back from the arch or spaced apart. On teeth that are already full-sized or pushed forward, they can make the smile look bulky. At Creative Arts in Dubai they are offered where the case allows, made in E.max or feldspathic porcelain, and tested first with a mock-up placed over the teeth as they are.
Ask the dentist to show you the mock-up from the side as well as from the front, since bulk is easier to see in profile. Ask whether some teeth would need a small amount of shaping, and whether minimal-prep veneers would give a more natural result for your teeth. Veneers start from AED 1,250 per tooth; your plan states the final figure.

Why do no-prep veneers not suit every tooth?
They add thickness without taking any away. On small, short or spaced teeth that extra layer fills the space and can look natural. On teeth that are already a normal size or sit forward, it makes them look bulky and can affect the lip and the gum line. A mock-up over your own teeth shows which situation you are in before anything is bonded.
