I live in Karama and my old crowns show a dark line at the gum. Can they be replaced with all-ceramic crowns?
Usually, yes. The dark line is often the metal edge of a metal-ceramic crown showing as the gum recedes. An all-ceramic crown such as E.max or layered zirconia avoids it. X-rays check the tooth first, because decay or an old root filling may need treatment before the new crown.
