Before: the situation
The six upper front teeth are short and differ sharply in colour: the central incisors have a peach-yellow tone with fine surface lines, one lateral incisor looks grey and the other grey with a chipped edge, and the canines are yellow-orange. The biting edges are worn flat and slightly chipped, and the canine tips are rounded off.
What was wrong, and why it matters
Worn, short front teeth make the smile look older and show less tooth when the lips are relaxed. Flattened canine tips matter for function as well: the canines normally guide the jaw sideways and protect the back teeth, and once they wear the load shifts elsewhere.
When neighbouring teeth are different colours, it is often because they have different histories, such as old restorations, a tooth that has darkened from inside, or a missing tooth already replaced. Matching them means that each tooth may need a different type of restoration while still looking like one smile.
The solution
In Dr. Marina's own description of this case, the front of the mouth includes everything: veneers, crowns on natural teeth and crowns on implants. Combining different materials and structures in the smile zone without losing colour and brightness is, in her words, a demanding task. The after photo, which she notes was taken the day after fitting, shows the front teeth longer, with defined canine shapes and one even, light shade.
A case like this depends on planning first: deciding for each tooth what it needs, restoring length to the worn edges in line with the bite, and working closely with the ceramist so that different restorations end up the same colour.
How a case like this is planned and carried out
Examination and photographs of each front tooth
Bite assessment of the worn edges and canine guidance
Digital smile design and mock-up of the new tooth length
Staged treatment, choosing the right restoration for each tooth
Shade matching with the ceramist in the dental lab in the same building
Bite review after fitting
After: the result
The upper front teeth are longer, with rounded central incisors and well-defined canines. The grey, yellow and peach differences are gone: all the visible front teeth share one light shade.

In Dr. Marina Antoniuk’s words
From Dr. Marina’s own description of this case on InstagramIn the front: veneers, crowns on teeth and crowns on implants. Combining different materials and structures in the smile zone without losing colour and brightness is a demanding task, but we managed.
This is Dr. Marina's own Instagram caption for the case; the uniform colour in the after photo is the hard part she describes.

Questions about this kind of case
Can veneers, crowns and implant crowns next to each other be made the same colour?
Yes, but it takes careful planning, because each type of restoration handles light differently. In this case at Creative Arts in Dubai, Dr. Marina Antoniuk combined veneers, crowns on teeth and crowns on implants in the smile zone, working with the ceramist in the dental lab in the same building so that all the front teeth ended up one even, bright shade.
Is a Russian-speaking dentist in Dubai able to restore worn and discoloured front teeth?
Dr. Marina Antoniuk is a Russian-speaking dentist at Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics in Dubai, with 17 years of clinical experience in aesthetic and functional rehabilitation. She restores worn and discoloured front teeth after an examination and bite assessment, and can explain the plan in English or Russian. This case shows worn, mixed-shade front teeth restored to one even colour.
