Before: the situation
Before treatment, the upper teeth are several different shades. The two central incisors are light but carry cloudy white patches and fine lines, the teeth beside them are more yellow, and one tooth towards one side of the smile is clearly darker and greyer than its neighbours. The edges are uneven, and the side view shows a mix of yellow and cream tones from the front of the smile to the back.
What was wrong, and why it matters
When neighbouring teeth are different shades, the eye reads the smile as patchy even if each tooth is healthy. Shade differences have different causes: old fillings and bonding that have aged, enamel defects that show as white patches, and teeth that darken from the inside after past injury or root canal treatment. Whitening acts on natural enamel, so it lightens teeth unevenly when the causes are mixed and does not change fillings at all.
This is why a uniform result usually needs a covering restoration rather than whitening alone, and why the target shade has to be agreed before work begins: once one shade covers every visible tooth, it defines the whole smile.
The solution
Nataly's Hollywood smile was carried out by Dr. Somar Dahdal, a general dentist at Creative Arts. The after photos show the visible upper teeth in one bright white shade, with the darker tooth and the patchy front surfaces no longer showing. The front teeth have even, rectangular outlines, the edges follow the lower lip, and the side view shows the same shade carried back towards the corners of the smile.
How a case like this is planned at Creative Arts
Examination of each visible tooth, including any darker tooth, with smile photographs
Digital smile design to set the shade, outline and edge line of the whole smile
A mock-up over the patient's own teeth to preview and adjust the proposed smile
A written, itemised plan with the treatment and its cost, given after examination
Restorations made at Creative Art Dental Lab, in the same building, from the approved design
Fit, bite and shade checked at the fitting appointment
After: the result
Nataly's smile now reads as one even, bright row of teeth, with no single tooth standing out in colour. A short video from her treatment at the clinic and a feedback video from Nataly are published with this case.

Questions about this kind of case
Can a Hollywood smile even out front teeth that are all slightly different shades?
Yes. Each visible tooth is covered in one planned shade, so colour differences from old fillings, white patches or a darker tooth stop showing. A very dark tooth may need extra attention so it does not show through. At Creative Arts in Dubai the shade is agreed on a mock-up at the digital smile design stage, before any final work is made.
Who decides how white my Hollywood smile will be, me or the dentist?
You decide together. The dentist explains how different shades will look against your skin, your lips and any teeth that will not be covered, and you see the shade on a mock-up before anything is final. Some patients choose a bright white, as in this case; others prefer a softer shade. The agreed shade is recorded in the written plan at Creative Arts.
