Quick answer

How much does a dental bridge cost in Dubai?

The cost of a dental bridge in Dubai depends mainly on the number of units (each supporting crown and each replacement tooth counts as one), the material, whether natural teeth or implants carry it, and any treatment the supporting teeth need first. A bridge replacing one missing tooth is usually three units. At Creative Arts you receive a written, itemised plan after examination, with a bridge and an implant compared side by side.

How bridges are priced

Why is a dental bridge priced per unit?

A bridge is one connected piece, but it is built from several units. Each tooth that holds the bridge gets a crown (a supporting unit), and each missing tooth is replaced by an artificial tooth called a pontic. A bridge replacing one missing tooth with a crown on each neighbour is therefore three units; two missing teeth in a row with two supports is four units.

Each unit carries real work: the design, the ceramic, and the hand-finishing in the laboratory. The joins between units (the connectors) have to be strong enough to carry chewing forces across the gap, and the whole piece must slide onto the supporting teeth along one path. That is why per-unit pricing is the norm in Dubai, and why the number of units is the first thing to check when you compare quotes.

The other major variable is the supporting teeth. A bridge is only as good as what holds it, so decay, old fillings, root canal treatment or gum disease in those teeth are dealt with first and itemised separately. Our dental bridges page explains the types of bridge and how one is made.

Cost factors

What changes the cost of a dental bridge?

These are the factors that move a bridge quote up or down. Your written plan shows which ones apply to you.

FactorLower-cost endHigher-cost end
Number of unitsOne missing tooth, three unitsSeveral missing teeth, a longer span
Type of bridgeResin-bonded wing on a front tooth with a light biteImplant-supported bridge across several teeth
MaterialMonolithic zirconia at the backLayered ceramic hand-finished for a visible front bridge
Supporting teethHealthy, or already crownedNeed root canal treatment, build-ups or gum treatment first
Gum and bone at the gapHealed, with enough bone for a natural-looking replacement toothShrunken ridge that needs extra shaping or pink ceramic to look right
Temporary bridgeShort wait, simple temporaryLong healing time after an extraction
BiteNormal biteHeavy grinding that needs a stronger design and a night guard

Porcelain-fused-to-metal bridges are still quoted by some clinics. Ask which material and which metal any quote includes, because it changes both cost and appearance. Creative Art Dental Lab makes metal-free zirconia and E.max work.

Your quote

What does a bridge quote include, and what may be extra?

A low headline figure often covers only the bridge itself. These are the items a complete quote should account for.

  • Examination and X-raysThe supporting teeth, their roots and the bone are checked; a 3D scan is added if implants are being considered.
  • Work on the supporting teethFillings, build-ups, root canal treatment or gum treatment are separate items, and change the total most.
  • Extraction, if neededIf a tooth still has to be removed, the gum is usually left to heal before the final bridge is made.
  • Implant work, for an implant bridgeImplants, any bone grafting and the components that join implant and bridge are priced separately from the bridge units.
Over time

Bridge or implant: how does the cost compare over the years?

Upfront cost is only part of the picture. No figures here: your plan prices the options for your own gap.

Creative Arts does not offer removable dentures as a service; they are listed for comparison. The full comparison is in implants vs bridges.

Value

When is a bridge the better value for a missing tooth?

A bridge makes most financial and biological sense when the teeth beside the gap already need crowns, for example because they are heavily filled, cracked or root-treated. Crowning them is then work you would face anyway, and the bridge adds one replacement tooth between them. When those neighbours are healthy and unfilled, preparing them for a bridge removes sound tooth that can never be put back, and a single tooth implant often gives better value over the long term, even though it costs more at the start.

Time and health matter too. A bridge is usually finished in a few weeks without surgery, which suits people who cannot or prefer not to have implant surgery. Your plan sets out both paths, with what each costs now and what each may need later.

Crowns and bridges made in our own lab

Zirconia and E.max crowns are designed and milled in the laboratory in our building, then finished for shade and surface texture. Adjustments after the try-in are made on site.

Comparing quotes

How should you compare two bridge quotes?

Two quotes for “a bridge” can describe very different treatment. Before comparing figures, check the same points on each:

  • Units: how many, and which teeth carry them.
  • Type: traditional, cantilever, resin-bonded or implant-supported.
  • Material: zirconia, E.max, or porcelain fused to metal, and whether the visible part is hand-finished.
  • Supporting teeth: whether fillings, root canals or gum treatment are included or quoted separately.
  • Temporary and review: whether a temporary bridge and the follow-up visit are included.
  • Alternatives: whether an implant option was offered for comparison.

A bridge lasts as long as its supporting teeth stay healthy. Our guides to how long crowns last and dental bridge problems explain what shortens that life, which matters as much as the price on day one. For crown-only work see our crown cost guide, and for the wider picture our guide to dental costs in Dubai.

Patient questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does a 3-unit dental bridge cost in Dubai?

A three-unit bridge, two supporting crowns and one replacement tooth, is priced as three units of the chosen material, plus any work the supporting teeth need first, such as fillings, build-ups or root canal treatment. That extra work is what makes quotes for the same bridge differ most. We give you an itemised figure after examination.

Is a dental bridge cheaper than an implant in Dubai?

Upfront, a tooth-supported bridge usually costs less than a single implant with its crown. Over the years the comparison can change: a bridge needs the neighbouring teeth crowned and may need replacing if one of them fails, while an implant leaves them untouched. Your plan can price both so you can compare.

Does a zirconia bridge cost more than other bridges?

Material is one factor, alongside the number of units and how much hand-finishing the visible part needs. Monolithic zirconia at the back needs less layering than a front bridge finished by hand for shade. Porcelain-fused-to-metal is quoted by some clinics; ask which material each quote includes.

Why do dental bridge quotes in Dubai vary so much?

Quotes differ in what they include: the number of units, the material, whether the supporting teeth need fillings or root canal treatment, the temporary bridge, the review, and whether an implant option was considered. Compare these points line by line before comparing totals.

How much does an implant-supported bridge cost?

An implant bridge combines two costs: the implants, with any bone grafting and connecting components, and the bridge units on top. It usually costs more than a tooth-supported bridge but leaves natural teeth untouched. Our implant cost guide explains the implant side; your plan itemises both.

Is the temporary bridge included in a bridge quote?

At Creative Arts the temporary bridge worn while the final bridge is made is listed in your written plan. When comparing with other clinics, check whether a temporary is included, because a long healing period after an extraction can mean wearing one for longer.
