Can I have a Hollywood Smile or other dental treatment in Dubai if I live in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi or another GCC country?
Yes. Creative Arts has a single clinic at 614 Jumeira St, Jumeirah 3, Dubai, with no branches in other emirates, and many patients travel in for treatment. A Hollywood Smile or ceramic veneers usually need several visits over about one to two weeks, implants need at least two stages months apart, and Invisalign needs periodic reviews. You can send photos first to ask questions, but a diagnosis needs an examination.

Is there a Creative Arts clinic in Sharjah or Abu Dhabi?
No. Creative Arts Aesthetic & Dental Center has one location, at 614 Jumeira St, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, in Dubai, and the dental laboratory that makes its veneers and crowns is in the same building. There are no branches in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman or elsewhere, and older listings that suggest otherwise are out of date.
That matters for planning. Every visit, from the first examination to the final review, happens in Dubai, so the number of trips depends on the treatment and on how well the appointments are grouped. The clinic is open every day, including Friday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 20:00, which helps patients who can only travel at weekends. The laboratory is closed on Sundays, which affects the timing of veneers and crowns.
How many visits does each treatment need?
Typical patterns for uncomplicated cases. Your own plan is confirmed only after an examination, and preparatory treatment such as gum care or fillings can add visits.
| Treatment | Typical visits | What sets the timing | Trips from outside Dubai |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hollywood Smile or ceramic veneers | Examination and scan; design and mock-up; preparation with temporaries; try-in and bonding; review | Lab time of typically 3–5 working days between preparation and fitting | UAE residents often make several trips over about two weeks; visitors from further away usually plan a stay of around five to ten days |
| Composite bonding | Assessment, then one or two treatment sessions | Number of teeth and shade planning | Often one or two trips |
| Crowns or a bridge | Preparation and scan; fit | Lab time of typically 3–5 working days | Two trips, or one stay of about a week |
| Dental implant | Assessment with 3D CBCT; placement; healing; crown | Bone healing, typically about 3–6 months before the final crown | At least two trips months apart, plus a review |
| Invisalign | Records and scan; fitting the aligners; periodic reviews; retainers | Aligner production and the number of reviews your case needs | Regular trips throughout treatment; discuss the review interval before starting |
| Root canal treatment | Usually one or two visits, then a crown if needed | Infection and tooth anatomy | One or two trips; a crown adds lab time |
| In-clinic whitening | Check-up and clean if due; whitening session | Gum health and existing sensitivity | Often one trip |
These are typical ranges, not promises. The written plan you receive after examination states the number of visits for your case.
How can you group appointments to save trips?
- Combine diagnosis in one visit. Ask for the examination, X-rays, any 3D scan and the discussion of options in the same appointment, so you leave with a written plan rather than needing a second visit to hear it.
- Ask for longer sessions. Where it is safe, several teeth can be prepared or treated in one longer appointment instead of short visits on different days.
- Plan around the laboratory. For veneers and crowns, the gap between preparation and fitting is lab time. Starting early in the week avoids losing a Sunday in the middle.
- Use weekends. The clinic is open seven days, so Friday, Saturday and Sunday appointments are available, although they fill early.
- Finish preparatory work first. Gum treatment, fillings or orthodontics that are needed before cosmetic work are better completed beforehand, so the cosmetic visits are not interrupted.
Can you start with photos on WhatsApp before travelling?
Yes, as a first step to ask questions. Send clear photos of your smile from the front and sides, your teeth closed and slightly apart, and any recent X-rays, together with what you would like to change. A dentist can then tell you which treatments may be relevant, what an examination would involve and roughly how many visits to allow.
What photos cannot do is replace an examination. Decay between teeth, gum health, old fillings, the bite and the condition of the roots are only assessed in person and on X-rays, and they often change the plan. Treat any answer you receive before an examination as provisional. For visitors from outside the UAE, our page on veneers for visiting patients explains what to send and how a veneer stay is organised day by day.
Do not book a flight straight after surgery
If your plan includes extractions, implants or a sinus lift, ask the dentist how long to wait before flying and keep a review appointment before you leave. Our guide to flying after dental surgery explains why. For veneers and crowns, allow at least a day after bonding so the bite can be checked before you go home.
What should you bring, and what will you take home?
Bring recent X-rays from your own dentist if you have them, a list of medicines and any medical conditions, and details of previous major treatment such as implants or root canals. If you have dental insurance, check with your insurer whether your plan covers treatment in Dubai and whether pre-approval is needed; cover issued in another emirate or country does not always extend across borders.
When treatment is finished, ask for copies of your X-rays and a summary of what was done: which teeth were treated, the materials used and, for veneers or crowns, the shade. Your local dentist can then carry out check-ups and cleaning with full information. For patients who have travelled from abroad, our guide to dental treatment from abroad covers continuity of care in more detail.

Hollywood Smile at Creative ArtsHow is aftercare handled once you are home?
Most aftercare is the same wherever you live: good brushing and interdental cleaning, regular check-ups and cleaning, and, if you grind your teeth, a night guard to protect ceramic work. Your local dentist can do all of this. Our Hollywood Smile aftercare guide explains what veneers need over the years.
If something goes wrong with the treatment itself, such as a veneer that comes loose or a crown that feels high, contact the clinic first with a photo and a description. Some issues can be managed temporarily by your local dentist, others need a visit to Dubai. Patients from overseas who are weighing travel for treatment more broadly can read about our dental tourism support.
How do you judge whether travelling for treatment is worth it?
The honest answer depends on the treatment. Single-visit care, such as a check-up or a simple filling, is usually better done close to home. Treatments where planning and laboratory work make the biggest difference to the result, such as a full Hollywood Smile, complex crown work or full-arch implants, are the ones patients most often travel for. Whatever you decide, compare written plans, check the dentist's licence and ask who will make your ceramic work; our guide to choosing a dental clinic in Dubai sets out what to compare.
