Calcium filler injections are among the modern techniques in improving skin appearance and rejuvenation. These treatments provide noticeable results without the need for expensive surgical procedures or long recovery periods. The technique of calcium filler injections relies on using filling materials containing mineral calcium particles, which work to enhance skin elasticity and overall appearance. They are considered among the filler options available at Creative Arts Aesthetic.

1. Calcium Filler Injections

Injectable calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), also known as Radiesse, is one of the new types of fillers that are non-harmful to the skin, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to improve the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds on the face, such as transparent nose wrinkles. With aging as part of the aging process, the skin, bones, fat, and muscles in our faces begin to atrophy. These changes lead to the formation of facial wrinkles, folds, swelling, and/or loss of volume.

2. Advantages of Calcium Filler Injections

At Creative Arts Aesthetic, we discuss the option of filler injections for their many advantages that are part of the desired therapeutic goals for patients. These include:

  1. Improving skin elasticity: Calcium filler injections stimulate collagen production in the skin, which helps improve its elasticity and give it a youthful, taut appearance.
  2. Long-lasting results: Compared to some other treatments, the effects of calcium filler injections last for a long time, meaning there is no need for frequent supplementary procedures.
  3. Safety of use: Calcium filler injection materials are safe to use and often do not cause serious side effects.

3. Uses of Calcium Filler Injections

Calcium filler injections can be used for several cosmetic purposes, and cosmetic doctors at Creative Arts Aesthetic can guide individuals interested in these treatments and provide appropriate consultation to achieve the desired results safely and effectively. Some uses include:

  • Increasing lip volume
  • Improving the appearance of lines and wrinkles
  • Enhancing overall skin texture.
