These guides offer general preparation and aftercare information for common treatments at Creative Arts Dental. They are a starting point for what to expect โ your dentist will always give you specific instructions tailored to your individual case at your appointment.
Before Your Veneer or Hollywood Smile Appointment
- Bring a list of any medications you currently take
- Avoid heavy staining foods or drinks (coffee, red wine) in the days before your digital shade assessment
- Come prepared with reference photos if you have a specific smile style in mind
After Veneer Placement
- Mild sensitivity to temperature in the first few days is normal
- Avoid biting directly into very hard foods (ice, hard nuts) with your new veneers
- Maintain regular oral hygiene as advised by your dentist
After Dental Implant Placement
- Follow any prescribed medication schedule exactly as directed
- Stick to soft foods for the period advised by your surgeon
- Avoid smoking during the healing period, as it can affect implant integration
- Attend all follow-up appointments so healing can be monitored
After a GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) Session
- Mild sensitivity for a short period afterward is normal
- Avoid heavily pigmented foods or drinks for a few hours if you also had whitening as part of your visit
- Maintain your normal brushing and flossing routine, as advised by your hygienist
